MONSTER JAM CREATURES

I created a line of artwork for the Monster Jam licensing program featuring illustrated monsters inspired by their Monster Jam truck counterparts. All characters and images represented are owned and copy-written by Feld Entertainment.

Below is a feature that was published in the Monster Jam Souvenir Program. I designed, illustrated and co-wrote the feature.

In 2019 SpinMaster released the Monster Jam Creatures as articulated action figures. Below features Grim and Maximus.

Featured

I designed versions of the Monster Jam Creatures to be mascots at the Monster Jam shows. It was a deliberate attempt to create happier, more kid-friendly versions of these characters that would appeal to younger Monster Jam fans. I created the original sketches and designs and worked closely with the costume department who created the costumes.

MJ CREATURES FLYER - BACK

This is the back side of a two-sided flyer handed out at the 2015 Licensing Expo in Las Vegas. This side features the concept review and depicts Creatures product. MJ Creatures New Bright products are prominently featured in the upper right corner.

This is the front side of a two-sided flyer handed out at the licensing show in Las Vegas. Monster Jam held a booth at the event and MJ Creatures was a big push within the Monster Jam Licensing Program and was well received by many product licensees creating many new licensing opportunities for Monster Jam.

This is the Max-D inflatable that tours with the truck. I worked closely with the inflatable company to ensure the best final piece. I designed the banner above the inflatable advertising the New Bright RC toy line.

ALIEN INVASION

This is a composite created to be included on Monster Jam's online licensing style guide. This asset is part of the Alien Invasion asset package and is available for licensees to use on a multitude of products.

PIRATE COMPOSITION

This composition is part of the Pirate's Curse asset package in the Monster Jam licensing style guide. It is available to licensees for use on product. The elements of the composite such as the truck, figure, background and logos are also provided individually within the style guide to allow licensees ability to create unique designs.

ART FOR APPAREL

This artwork was created for a tee shirt sold exclusively at the 2016 Monster Jam World Finals in Las Vegas.

MAX-D FAN SIGN

Below are commercial spots produced by New Bright to advertise the new Monster Jam and MJ Carnage Creatures RC toys. The Monster Jam Creatures have been incorporated into the spots. I worked very closely with the 3D artists at New Bright initially providing them reference artwork and notes, reviewing 3D mold submissions and approving final Creature molds, colors, sounds and effects.

The Monster Jam Creatures have been featured in the Monster Jam Souvenir Program Kids Pages. I wrote, designed and illustrated the below activity pages.
